Hoping to find peace, Kurt Mueller, a German citizen and anti-fascist, his American wife, Sara, and their children arrive at Sara’s childhood home in Washington, D.C. Even in this environment of wealth and ease, however, Kurt finds he must continue his fight against the growing threat of Nazism.
