Rev. Brown has been very active in the recent Rochester movement for racial justice. She will address:
- the reasons why the system of policing is based on a model of slave patrol started after the Emancipation and in Rochester in 1819,
- how this broken model continues to harm people of color, and
- finding a way forward
Rev. Brown’s presentation will be followed by a Q & A open discussion
