Home   /   Bunny Bunny: Gilda Radner, A Sort of Romantic Comedy

by Alan Zweibel, based on his book

In 1975, Saturday Night Live debuted and changed the face of comedy on television. Gilda Radner became one of the show’s most beloved performers, while Alan Zweibel was one of the founding writers. They not only became collaborators, but their friendship would grow through the years – past their time on SNL and through Gilda’s battle with cancer. In 1994, Zweibel wrote the poignant book Bunny Bunny about their time together, and he later adapted it for the stage. Aspie Works founder Justin Rielly directs the reading of the play adaptation.
